ARCHAEOLOGICAL ILLUSTRATOR SERVICES

During my undergraduate studies at Dickinson College (2012 - 2016), I served as a junior staff member of the Dickinson Excavation Program and Archaeological Survey (D.E.P.A.S.) at Mycenae, Greece. I taught and trained students how to excavate, collect and record data of finds, catalogue material, conserve finds, draw architecture and small finds, and inking original drawings to publication standards.

In my graduate studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, MFA in Drawing, Painting, and Printmaking (2017-2019), I worked as an Archaeological Illustrator of the Mycenaean Foundation at Lamia and the Spercheios Valley (MY.SPE.AR.) I further refined my technique, standardized the use of conventions, extended the range of archaeological objects that I illustrate, and developed my expertise in digital drawing and digitization of inked drawings.

Currently, I work as an archaeological illustrator and draughts-woman for the Mycenaean Foundation in drawing, digitally illustrating, and digitally retouching original inked drawings of pottery and small finds from the Palatial Workshops and the Lower Town of Mycenae, as well as the Akrolamia excavations to publication standards.
